The Team
You will be part of the North & East Europe team, consisting of 7 engaged Account Managers with extensive knowledge and understanding of the dsm-firmenich portfolio of ingredients solutions. The team is part of the European Sales community.
The team consists of competent Account Managers with a strong ability to describe and discuss the products in depth and achieve results. They collaborate with people across various functions and are not afraid to try new things, keep themselves up to date with the latest research in this field. The Challenge
This position is homebased with travel across Denmark and Scandinavia to engage with Key Clients and stakeholders. You must partner with the dairy industry to unlock new value, drive innovation and create sustainable wellbeing across the industry. You must set up, coordinate, execute specific Accounts tactics and plans to realize predefined and agreed sales and overall customer relationship objectives, both for the short- and long term. You will be accountable for top line profit and goals both strategically and tactically.
You will be responsible for:
- Develop and execute sales and account plans
- Build strong multi-layer account relationships to drive growth
- Identify long-term opportunities and integrate into strategy
- Lead projects on key products, processes, and innovation
- Monitor competitors and market trends for sales planning
- Lead contract negotiations and secure agreements
- Coordinate technical and after-sales support, including complaints
- Track account payments and ensure timely collection

Your Talent
We are looking for a candidate with a technical Dairy background and you should have proven experience in Account Management within an international B2B environment, preferably in the cheese and dairy industry. Strong knowledge of cheese and dairy cultures, enzymes, and/or other dairy ingredients is essential, along with the ability to discuss these products in depth.
A well-established network within the international dairy industry is highly valued, as is a track record of successful sales and commercial achievements. We are seeking a pragmatic, entrepreneurial professional who can build and maintain relationships at all levels, both internally and externally.
You understand what it takes to introduce new products to the market. You see opportunities rather than obstacles and thrive in an environment where you can make a significant impact. You are comfortable shaping your path as you go, taking initiative even when not everything is predefined.
You have a strong results-driven mindset, a clear customer focus, and a genuine ambition to succeed. You are an excellent communicator with strong planning and organizational skills. Fluency in English is required, and Danish is preferred due to close customer relations in the region. You are passionate about travel and enjoy engaging with customers face-to-face.
