Micrel have direct sales in Denmark, Sweden, and Germany, so you will have special cooperation and marketing meetings with your colleague in these countries. All these people have a broad foundation within healthcare and supplemented with a strong sales toolbox. Being a small team, they often work closely together to get the best outcome on the individual projects and sales. The team has ambitious goals but makes sure to have fun along the way.

The Challenge
Your experience and ability to sell and build long term partnerships with your customers will be crucial for the development and growth of this position. You will visit the main hospital departments and specialties within Anesthesiology, Surgery, Gastroenterology, Oncology, and Neurology etc. and your customers are an exciting group of nurses and leading doctors. You will be responsible for a world class range of products within infusion, well known at the hospitals and recognized for the high quality. You will plan, prioritize, and execute your activities in your own district, but at the same time cooperate and cover the hospitals at Funen and southern of Jutland together with you colleague. You will implement sales campaigns and give input to tenders. You are good at teaching and are used to give instructions and able to talk with people at all levels in the hospitals.

  • Your main responsibility will be:
  • Responsible for sales in the territory, managing accounts and expanding the customer base
  • Maintain and develop excellent customer relationships, anticipate their needs and further promote new products features
  • Provide exceptional customer support as part of Micrel Medical Devices commitment to customer excellence
  • Participate in exhibitions, congresses, and other events in which the company chooses to participate
  • Monitoring of competitor activities and overall market trends to ensure the company remains competitive
  • Work as part of a team and support colleagues as required to ensure success in Denmark
  • Planning and executing the sales plan and territory coverage utilizing the CRM system
  • Provide user training on the devises

Your Talent
Your key words are engagement, positivity, and customer relations. You have a good business understanding and a background as healthcare professional with a very good understanding and experience for doctors and nurses’ daily life and challenges.  You have been driving the sales at hospitals and have experience with Medical Devices.

Knowledge of Infusions Systems and competition products is highly preferred.  You have with confidence shown the ability to communicate and train different target groups at hospitals. You will open doors and sell the bigger picture and advantages and love when the costumer needs to go into deeper discussions of what Micrel Medical Devices offers.

 The preferred candidate will have the following profile:

  • Knowledge and understanding of the Medical Device market
  • At least 5 years of proven sales experience in the Med Tech industry, ideally with capital goods
  • Commercial background or/and Engineering, Life Sciences, Nursing
  • A positive, “can-do” attitude at all times, with ability to take ownership of an issue until it is fully resolved
  • High customer support and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of Infusion Therapy is an advantage but not essential
  • Availability to travel within assigned territory is required
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Very good level of spoken and written English required
  • Ability to work collaboratively and enjoy being part of the team, whilst being self-reliant and enjoy the challenges of growing and developing a business
