Site Manager, Pharma Solutions

The Challenge
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance and development of the Copenhagen site. You will ensure strong operational execution across all activities while driving continuous improvement, compliance, and high-quality delivery of clinical studies.

You will translate strategy into operational priorities and ensure effective execution across all functions. In close collaboration with Quality, HR, Finance, Legal and Commercial, you will support both operational performance and business growth, while representing the site externally when required.

Your primary task will be:

Own full site performance, including P&L, revenue, and EBITDA delivery in conjunction with finance and commercial
Lead and scale site operations to ensure efficient, high-quality clinical study execution
Translate business strategy into operational priorities and drive execution across functions
Ensure full compliance with regulatory, quality, and safety standards
Build and lead a high-performing leadership team, driving engagement and accountability
Optimize resource allocation, cost control, and operational efficiency
Drive cross-site alignment and leverage synergies across the organization
Lead continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives
Act as a key member of the Country Leadership Team
Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction

Reporting directly to the Global Head of Pharma (General Manager), you are a collaborative and people-focused leader who thrives in a complex, cross-functional environment. You oversee all scientific disciplines and site-based support functions, ensuring smooth daily operations and strong coordination, while working closely with other Site Managers across Unilabs Pharma Solutions to share best practices and drive alignment. You naturally build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and confidently represent the organization in interactions with external parties including regulators, auditors, and inspectors.

Your Talent
You are an ambitious and dedicated leader who strives to find the right solutions to drive and manage day-to-day operations on site. You are motivated by delivering high-quality clinical studies on time, together with your team, while ensuring strong performance and continuous improvement.

You hold a BSc or MSc within Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field, and bring more than 10 years of experience from a bioanalytical or drug discovery environment.

You have a proven track record of leadership, with more than 6 years of experience managing teams in a similar scientific setting. You are a strong people leader who inspires and motivates others to achieve higher performance while fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

You bring solid financial understanding, including hands-on experience with budgeting and cost control at site level. You combine strong organizational skills with excellent stakeholder management and a structured, solution-oriented approach.

You work effectively across functions and create alignment in complex organizations. You are confident in engaging with regulatory authorities, auditors, and external partners, and you act with professionalism and credibility in these interactions. You are of course fluent in English, both written and spoken.
