The Team
The development team consists of 10 people. They work with a groundbreaking new image analysis platform for real-time quantification and visualization of blood perfusion during surgery. They are now working to further strengthen their advanced AI technology and “PerfusionWorks” software for blood vessel mapping and other exciting products for the future. The Challenge
Would you like to improve surgical outcome and save time, money, and patient lives, are you experienced with development of medical device products, and do you thrive working in an agile organization where you can impact things, then you may be the new VP of Software Development.

This is a great opportunity to join a growing team working at a fast pace and in a multidisciplinary environment. Where you bring high levels of expertise for medical devices and software, as well as an ability to contribute towards development projects and motivational leadership.
Perfusion Tech is looking for an experienced people manager who can lead the development team of skilled software developers and ensure progress on pipeline projects. You will be part of the cross functional management team who is focused on bringing Perfusion Tech’s new AI software platform to the market.

You will be joining colleagues who are highly skilled and have vast experience in their field of expertise and you will therefore have focus on leadership, setting clear directions, prioritizing, manage resources and the team’s performance and well-being. Their working language is English, which is why you need excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. You will report to the CEO of Perfusion Tech.

Your Talent
The ideal candidate has a technical background, i.e., a degree in Engineering or Life Science. They expect you to have 5+ years of experience within the medical device industry (active medical devices, software, or IVD). You have a proven track record of working with leading software projects.

You are used to all tasks are carried out in close collaboration with the management group and other functions (RA, QA, Research etc.) and it is therefore important, that you thrive by working in a cross functional environment and have a good understanding of the device and software development processes.

You are a proactive, well-balanced leader and communicator of ideas, direction and solutions and can navigate in an environment with different stakeholders. You have talent and passion for leadership and project management and are used to motivate your team in an individual and good way.

As a person, you have a structural approach and a collaborative nature. You like facilitating new ideas and ways to work with your team, by keeping calm and finding the essential elements in an often-unpredicted high pace environment. You think strategically but can also act operationally and are not afraid of bringing yourself into play to make things happen. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Danish. You integrate well into a team as well as working independently on an assignment.
