The Challenge
The Solution Seller assists customers by identifying the best solutions for their applications, offers and sells complete product and services solutions, provides commercial and technical support to customers, always aiming to provide the highest standards of customer service. All in close cooperation with peers, Outside Sales, Service and Business Development Managers. Additionally, you will work with suppliers and support internally across functions with order handling when the need is there.

You will be introduced to all aspects of the role and technical area and the tasks where you will be involved. You provide service to external and internal stakeholders including assisting the team within order processing and other administrative tasks related to the processes and client’s needs and expectations.

Your responsibilities:

  • Supporting sales and getting things through the system in a good way
  • Navigate systems and procedures keeping focus on the customer
  • Responsible for transfer prices in coordination with Business Units
  • Prepare and drive different price-calculation with highest possible profitability
  • Support the team and clients with information, lead times, technical advice etc.
  • Assist the sales on solving discrepancies
  • Preparation of orders
  • Track order progression from start to end and update relevant stakeholders
  • Support with practical ad-hoc tasks and general support of back sales tasks
  • Plan direct sales to existing clients and support the sales staff with leads, ideas etc.

Your Talent
Your educational background and direction are not the most important – it is your experience from a similar role or motivation for a role like this and personality that matters the most. You maybe have a technical background, or e.g an education where analyzing, and process optimization are important factors and something you appreciate and are good at.

You might have relevant experience from the process industry and a natural business understanding. Your experience and interest must be related to B-t-B and technical problem solving with customers within engineering and the process industry.

You create short term as well as long term relations with customers. Some level of analytical skill is important as to identifying the real needs of the customers.

As a person you are open minded and like to deliver service within the technical field towards clients and other important relations. You have a mindset where you involve your colleagues as you believe in, that working together as a team is where you achieve the best results. You strive to deliver an excellent customer service while being able to structure the processes and deliver with an urgent sense of high quality.
