The Team
You will be part of an experienced team with engaged and dedicated people in a stimulating international environment. In Device Development, they support the entire Zealand Pharma peptide portfolio, and work with international partners to develop the best possible delivery devices for each of their drugs. They work as one team across multiple continents and across many functional disciplines. Two days are never the same and you will have high influence on medical device development. The Challenge
You have a passion for medical device development and are motivated by understanding the user-situation and the user-needs. You have a drive to secures a high-quality user experience.

The job includes execution and support to device development, device manufacturing and lifecycle management improvement projects for drug delivery devices.

You will be working with all aspects of medical device development for drug delivery. You are experienced within Design Control and knowledgeable with Human Factors testing, and you have experience in setting device requirements, doing Risk Management and planning and executing Design Verification. This involves both medical devices and combination products as well as their packaging and labeling.

You will be working in an international environment and have interfaces with many different disciplines working closely together with external partners and CMO’s.

Your Talent
The ideal candidate holds a degree in Life Science, within engineering, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or another relevant field and have at least 5+ years of experience from medical device development.

You should have solid experience within design control and device development according to ISO 13485, risk management and usability engineering from the medical device industry. Also, you are familiar with design verification and design validation principles. Ideally you are experienced with both FDA and Medical Device Requirements.

You are used to collaborating internationally and have strong communication skills (English – both verbal and written) that secure a smooth development process. On a personal note, you are a true team player with a positive and flexible mindset, who understands how to reach joint project goals.

You have a proactive mind-set and a constructive attitude to drive progress combined with the ability to plan, execute, and meet deadlines. Also, you have a good understanding of complex technical issues. You are used to work with multiple tasks at the same time and are analytical and capable of digesting complex data without losing the overall picture.

You have a genuine interest in working in a dynamic environment and taking on new challenges along with the ability and engagement to “walk the extra mile”. You see opportunities instead of difficulties.
