The Challenge
On behalf of Merck Life Science, Best Talent is now looking for 2 Account Managers for sales of process GMP to big pharma. The 2 Account Managers will have separate client responsibility in a growing market. You will be working at the heart of the business with few big clients, where you are the primary point of contact for generating business within the segment Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing in Denmark.

By creating leads and sales opportunities you will interact with prestigious companies and organizations and drive business forward, managing key strategic projects including negotiating prices and managing complex contracts with your customers at all levels.

In a strong cooperation with the team, you create state-of-the-art solutions with the Merck product portfolio which covers different areas like Filters, Single Use, Cell Culture Media, Biological, Dry Powder, and Liquid Buffers and GMP Process Chemicals.

You will define important strategic and tactical plans for your customers and deliver market input and business forecasts based on an in depth know how about the market and the specific clients.

You have a very good business understanding, are commercially skilled and by nature interested in the business environment and the understanding of the customer expectations and needs.

You can open doors at all levels and this competence you combine with your extraordinary skills within concept selling and development of the customers, always being supported or accompanied by one or more of the technical specialists within the company when needed.

You are a relationship builder with a winning mentality and at the same time you are helpful, delegating and a strong team player with a high degree of ethics and integrity, who understands that results are created by being focused and as a part of a team. You have an in dept knowledge of the entire Pharma Processing product line, which will help you reach the sales goals.

Combined with this, we are looking for a candidate with the following experiences and knowledge:

  • You have proven sales experience within the Life Science process environment or a strong background in a Pharmaceutical / Biopharmaceutical R&D, Process Development, or manufacturing environment
  • You hold a degree in Life Sciences, preferable within Biotechnology/Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Science and preferable combined with post graduate business qualifications
  • You are fluent in Danish and English
