The Business Unit, BU Øresund, is focused on delivering successful projects and professional consultancy assignments within the Life Science sector. Together with the Business Unit Manager you have the opportunity to drive the strategic sales across the organisation in the Life Science business with both existing and new customer relationships in the Öresund Region and also at international organisations with Headquarter & organisations in the region.
As a person you will bring renewal, but at the same time respect the existing, keeping focus on the high-quality standards of the company. Driving the sales process from first customer contact through issuing offers in corporation with your BU colleagues, our highly experienced Sector Managers, and other relevant AFRY colleagues, till entering the agreements and securing the customer satisfaction and recurrent sales. You will secure a smooth transfer from sales to project by participating in contract negotiation with the relevant stakeholders and by start-up project meetings internally and externally by customers. Together with the relevant stakeholders in and outside the organisation.

First and foremost, you have a winning personality and the will to cooperate and succeed within sales. You have the ability to predict what the future brings and knowledge about what the customers will need next.
You have a strong academic background on at least Bachelor level in combination with a good commercial education and understanding. You have a conceptual approach and sales experience from the Pharmaceutical, Food or another relevant technical industry.
You both enjoy and are used to meeting customers at all levels and might have experience from the consulting business sector. You understand complex and conceptual selling and you know how to grow a business and further develop an already well-known brand in both a local as well as a national market. As AFRY deliver projects to their customers, they value experience from project implementation, preferably international ones.
In addition, you are likely to have:
- Knowledge of design, optimize, validate, qualify, and maintain Life Science production plants
- Knowledge of GMP, ISO 13485 or corresponding regulatory requirements and interfacing with the authorities
- At least 5 years of experience in sales and be used to identifying customers, competitors, and the market potentials
- Experience with strategic sales development, prioritizing and implementation of action plans
- Skills in developing sales and marketing materials and conceptualizing consulting business
- Structured follow up on document flow, project quotation, bid evaluation process and tenders
- Negotiation talent and a sincere interest in the customers, following the sales process all the way in order to document results
